The Houston Chronicle reported today that Texas is interested in letting the schools decide what is best for kids. Finally. I have see first hand that Texas schools are just pushing them to get it right on tests. Well, we know Bush started that. Then they dumbed down the test so that the kids could pass. Now that was just a ploy to get kids to pass.
Well, I know what this means: More charter schools, more businesses invested in education. This could be good. OR...It could be one of those ploys. If it is like "the little charter school that could, can't" then it won't make a difference because they will be in so much debt that they can't keep it small so they have to add students. And they won't keep it meaningful with integrated expeditions beccause they have to pass the tests.
